Come discover “our secret” at Livingood Lodging.

Randy and I met friendly ATV trail riders in 2004 at National TrailFest which is held each October in Gilbert. It is one of the premier ATV events on the East Coast. We questioned the riders as to what it was that attracted them to Gilbert. They all exclaimed it was our friendly people and how they felt welcome in the Town of Gilbert. They did make note that there was need for more lodging. We listened and decided to open a nice place for people to stay while riding the trails. We love visiting new places ourselves so we made sure our guests would find everything they need upon arrival. Our goal was to make the guests’ experience as easy and memorable as possible.

We started out with two cabins, Creekside and The Chalet. They booked immediately and we had to start turning people away. We added our third unit, The Laid Back – Gilbert has that attitude! – and made sure it had plenty of room for larger groups. It too, booked rapidly so we purchased The Gilbert House to offer other large groups a nice place to stay with a huge parking lot. As we grew and kept having guests make their reservations a year in advance, we added yet another house, Nana’s Place. This unit was named Nana’s because my grandchildren call me (Vivian) “Nana.” It too has a huge parking area. Greystone Lodge is another three-bedroom house located across the street from The Laid Back. We have always taken pride in our rental units and want our guests to feel like they are at home when staying at Livingood Lodging. We feel blessed to have met so many wonderful people from all over the United States and Canada. We have had some celebrities stay as well. That is one of our secrets; we never tell who they are. It is fun to meet everyone and get to know them as friends. We welcome you to our lodges and are always open to suggestions for improvement. Thank you to all who frequent our business. We appreciate you!
